Last night as I was slumbering soundly in my bed I was rudely awakened by a noise, but I did not know what it was, and since it did not come again I fell back to sleep. I was again rudely awakened a few minutes later and I was able to distinguish the noise, it was the train horns from an overnight commuter train that had begun operating in the area, very loudly I might add! I guess that was something I would have to get used to. Hopefully the new nocturnal locomotive will not disrupt my sleep too much as I adjust to the new presence of noise.
