I never really thought about their being different styles of sign languages. It only makes sense since there are thousands of different languages and dialects in the world but I guess I never really thought about it. I was looking for an American Sign Language Alphabet Chart the other day online and I ran across a bunch of other versions of sign language. I did notice that even though they are different languages, they all have some of the same characteristics. This probably makes it easier for people to learn it and communicate with someone else. I found it really intriguing.
