Both my brother and I work in warehouse management. For some time we have been using a software package that helps us with inventory. The kind of software that I use is called manufacturing execution system software, and it is a very powerful tool for my job. It makes it possible for me to store all barcodes electronically in a database, which I then can access later for various queries. It comes in especially handy if we are running low on an item, because it will give me a warning if the sales ratio is higher than normal. I love this software.
