Fourteen months ago I lost my job. My husband and I struggled to make it for seven months and then he lost his job. Now our home is in danger of being sold at one of our county’s property tax sales. We tried to work out a payment arrangement with them, yet we couldn’t even meet the reduced payments they offered. Our home is paid for so this is very upsetting to us. We are looking for help from our local, state and federal government, but haven’t heard anything back yet. Apparently they are swamped with requests of this nature. I am praying we get help before our house is sold.
