Back before there was hair follicle transplants for men and their hair loss, there was a big business for hair toupee’s and there are still a lot of men that wear this fake hair. It is very similar to a womans wig but it is only a portion of a wig that gets taped or glued onto the top of a mans head where he has the hair loss at and then combed into place.

Then the toupee will be cut along with the man’s existing hair in order to blend in and look as real as possible. It looks good when first cut but when it is taken off and then repositioned, it sometimes leaves a definite line.
