After coming to a decision for the size and material of the table, think about the height, color and other aspects like that. You would want to go for a correct height one, as you do not want people to crouch over or to reach above to use the dining table. It should reach at least the abdomen of a standard man while sitting down.

The other thing is the color which should apparently match with the rest of the furniture.
