There is a piece of furniture in our family that has been passed down for generations. I would like to say that it came from my Grandmother, but rather frankly speaking, I think it was even a hand-me-down to her. Sofas are a great place for memories. I remember sitting in this particular piece of furniture on monumental occasions. Unfortunately, I can remember crying my tears out when my dog passed away. I also remember great times on the couch when we heard news that we were expecting another sister or brother. Whenever I see this piece of furniture now on display in my father’s house, it takes me back to so many memories.
