It only made sense to me that since my mom worked for a car insurance company that she would just automatically take car of getting a car insurance policy for me. I had been saving and saving for a new car and was almost at my goal. I had told her of my plan and that is when she told me that I needed to get car insurance. She said that it was not her job to do that for me and if I was responsible enough to drive and buy my own car, then I should be responsible enough to get insurance.
