instrument microphones are difficult
I’ve always found it rather difficult to find aquality microphone that meets all my needs. Unfortunately there are not microphones out there that can serve all the purposes I have as a musician. Being a musician is not easy as I am always strapped for cash and so any time I scrounge up enough money to get a new mic I’m always torn between the two main uses I have for microphones; studio and live performance. Studio instrument microphones are fairly easy to pick out, you simply find the highest quality you can for your budget. But mics designed for live performances are tricky. Do I get one that cancels out all background? Do I get wireless or no? All of these things make findind the right mic a daunting task but once you find that gem it makes your equipment sound ever so good!
