Fifty people gathered in a large room. Lights were dimmed and doors were shut. Ages ranged from eighteen to eighty-one and I was one of the youngest. We went around the table as the interviewers asked their first questions. I had given a very astute answer and now was waiting for our break the end. People began to gather again as the interviewer in charge gave the final directions before the break ended, “Please make a single file line right here. We are about to start screening employees.” This process would start eliminating ineligible applicants. It was just my luck that out of fifty people I was the only one to completely pass the test.
