The Franklin Park Conservatory is a fabulous place to visit if you love nature, art and expansive outdoor areas.  You can see hundreds of species of plants and a huge variety of butterflies at the Conservatory, as well as some incredible glass artwork by an incredibly talented artist.

The grounds at the Franklin Park Conservatory are ideal for walking, and you can also picnic throughout the Park.  Waterfalls, flower gardens, trees and plants are all a part of the beautifully landscaped Park. Indoors, you can explore a variety of greenhouses and learn about different habitats throughout the world.  You can explore a desert habitat greenhouse, see plants and flowers in a tropical rainforest environment, and view hundreds of butterflies in the Pacific Island Water Garden area.  Bonsai, palms and colorful and fragrant flowers are all on display in the Conservatory’s greenhouses.

xquisite glass sculptures by artist Dale Chihuly are on permanent display at the Franklin Park Conservatory.  The Conservatory holds nearly 3,000 pieces of Chihuly’s beautiful works in its collection.
