I drove down to my bank over in Kettleman City on Monday morning to speak with somebody in the loan department. The interest rate on the home loan that my wife and I had was kind of high, 9.25 &, and I wanted to see if we could qualify for a lower rate. One of the things that we have going for us is my wife now has a better job. These days my wife is working for one of the top rated Charter schools in the state. My wife is very proud of the fact that she is part of the learning process there.
