Licensed practical nurses usually work under the supervision of registered doctors or physicians and mostly interact with patients by attending to their needs inside their admitting room on a regular basis. There are a lot of tasks that LPNs do everyday and all these will be learned from the different LPN courses offered by different LPN training programs from nursing schools. These courses specifically help nurses to learn how to prepare injections and medication trays, help track of patients’ health records and information, take vital signs, help patients prepare for treatment, collect lab samples for testing purposes, clean up wounds or scars, help nursing assistants manage their routine tasks, support physicians’ aides with general duties and communicate after-care requirements to patients.
