In laser printers, the price can easily exceed $400 (laser toner tends to be more expensive). Unlike inkjet printers, laser printers don’t use ink, they use a special powder referred to as toner, like is used in a photocopier. Laser printers are several times more expensive than their inkjet counterparts, but print much more quickly and quietly. Always have available the printer details as well as a toner and that should be sufficient to help you locate the proper toner for your printer.
