These days, smart homes are green homes.  If you are building a brand new home, it is fairly easy to add in all the newest and best green options, but it is not so easy to add these things to an existing house.  We found a web site called getsmarthome and looked around on it for ideas.  One of the things that we decided to look at were Solar Water Heater Plans.  We are going to add one of these to our home.  For just the start up cost and a very little bit of maintenance, we will soon be heating all our water for free!
